Collect commits. Dodge bugs. Find the exit.
Your commits aren't going anywhere.
Guide Mona the Octocat through two code-filled repository themes with open plazas. Collect every commit to unlock the DEPLOY portal at the north edge. Bugs disappear and a green trail leads you to the exit. Walk through it to advance automatically, keeping your score and remaining lives. The level counter tracks your progress; repository themes alternate automatically.
The opening run offers two introductory layouts, followed by fresh procedural boards. New run starts immediately at level 1 on a newly generated board, with zero score and three lives. Restart level (↻) replays your exact current board with zero score and three lives. Both clear active power-ups; your best score, camera view, theme, and audio preferences stay unchanged.
WASD or arrow keys set your direction. Mona keeps moving; turns are queued for the next junction.
W / ↑ forward, S / ↓ backward. A / ← and D / → turn 90°. Hold to move. The minimap keeps you oriented.
V switches views any time. P or Esc pauses. Touch controls work in both views.
Exclamation marks mean danger. Avoid every bug unless it turns blue with a + CATCH label and blue ring. Green gems are always collectible commits. Glowing pull requests grant 8 seconds of Super Merge; chain bug catches for bigger rewards. When the timer ends, the bugs immediately return to their danger colors and labels.
Each board has three optional items: a computer chip (C) worth 250 points, an overclock battery (+) granting 1.3x movement speed for 6 seconds, and a firewall shield (F) that blocks one bug hit within 8 seconds. A blocked hit gives one second of escape grace. These items do not count toward commits or lock the portal.
Overclock and firewall can run together with Super Merge. Only Super Merge enables captures; capturing does not spend your shield. Effect timers freeze when paused, survive theme changes, and clear on death, restart, or the next level. The effect bar stays outside the board.
Original synthesized chiptunes start when you play, change with the level, and pick up during Super Merge. Music and SFX have separate toggles. Music pauses with the game.
